Thanksgiving in Review.

I just recently downloaded some pictures from Thanksgiving and thought I would share with you some memories that were made that week-end.
Since Peter was suppose to be leaving the week of Thanksgiving we thought we would celebrate Thanksgiving a week early up at My Grandparents with My Brother, Uncle and Aunt, My Great Uncle and Aunt and a Friend from the Coast Guard. We enjoyed a week-end of wonderful food, fun games and great company.

Almost the whole group. We are just missing my Uncle and Aunt.

Nate, Peter and I having fun.

Come back to see pictures from Christmas Eve and the gifts I made this year. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a Happy New Year!

Mondays.

My week started out sunny and a warm 54 degrees! I ran some errands, walked around my neighborhood and then enjoyed spending some time with one of my favorite families via skype. I made a very yummy Glazed Salmon with some sautéed swiss chard and onions and some rice on the side. It turned out so easy to make and i am excited to experiment with this recipe more. I have a couple of sewing projects and I can't wait to get them done so I can post them on my Etsy store.
The last couple of weeks I have been busy and my mind has been so full of ideas and thoughts. But tonight my heart is yearning for my love and I miss him so much; I wish he was here to share this Christmas Season with me. But through these time I can be thankful I have my Savior to lean on and as memories flow through my mind I think of my family, friends and all the familiar places I love and miss so much.
To a week of rain, friends and memories.

December won't you come back with snow, even some?

Once December arrived i started looking for Christmas movies and music only to fine that i owned neither. So to help me get into the Christmas spirit this year, I quickly searched through my public library website to make a list of Christmas movies i would love to see this year. It is now Dec 11th and i have checked off my list Holiday Inn, Mrs. Santa Claus, The Nativity Story, A Charlie Brown Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
Christmas time is my favorite time of year; when the the weather gets colder, gifts are exchanged, traditions are made and we celebrate the birth of our savior! I hope you make memories and share Christ love with everyone you meet this Christmas Season!

Merry Christmas!!

Life is beautiful......

So after some thinking and pushing from my sister i have decided to start a blog. I want to use this blog to keep in touch with family and friends, show off my hobbies and adventures that i embark on. I hope you have fun reading about my likes, dislikes and random happenings in my life.
